After ten years, I finally got the chance to watch this movie! And the wait was worth it. The film was great and touched me in a way that surprised me. Although my impairment in hearing and difficulty in understanding accents made my watching a bit uncomfortable. But it is the end that matters, just like in the movie.
it was weird realizing parallelism in the film and in reality. and how some people think the same way. the film gives me hope that like the people in that fictional britain, filipinos will also find the courage to break free.
As, V said in the movie, "the people should not be afraid of the government. the government should be the one afraid of the people."

Len spends most of her time ruminating on her writings that never made it to paper; keeps sane by reading books and listening to music. She reviews most of them out of love and the joy of it.
