Twilight
by Stephenie Meyer
from Goodreads:
Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife—between desire and danger. Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
Review:
It's been a while since i read a book that made my intestine work overtime because of feelings. Really. At first it was hmmm-hmmm...teen-adult book... then Edward came to the picture. Whahahahaha! Dang. The author kept on reiterating how unbelievably gorgeous is this being that you would actually fall in-love! Whahaha! And besides, all the situations in the book will just make your heart...well, beat faster than usual.
Haha! I know I'm not helping the review of the book. But if you have free time and you want a light reading that will somehow (re)awaken the squeeee in your system (that went into hybernation the moment thesis kicked in), well this book is for you, folks. But beware because aside from the intoxication you can have of Edward (I actually stayed upto 3AM because my hormones won't shut down), the book has two other installment and another one in the mill. I don't know how many installments there will be...it just says that it's a vampire saga...so...weeee! hahaha!
Kudos to its author, Stephanie Meyer, who I may say looks very young. I hope you can make another edition of the books. My sister kept on rambling about either typographical or misspelled words. ^_-
The cover is absolutely amazing. I was captivated by it the first time I saw it in the bookstore over two years ago...but it was still in hardbound and well...expensive for me. Hahahaha!
I really love vampire stories....Bram Stoker's...Interview...and this!
Rating:

Len spends most of her time ruminating on her writings that never made it to paper; keeps sane by reading books and listening to music. She reviews most of them out of love and the joy of it.
