Music Monday: Star Tiger Star Ariel by The Delays

I admit it.  I'm in-love with The Delays.  The moment I heard their track, Hideaway I can't get enough of them.  They are my staple viewing habit in You Tube and in my Ipod playlist.  Thank God for the digital age I'm able to grab hold of their albums or else I have to buy their albums off Amazon.  By the time it reaches me, my heart is already wrenched.  Although I'm still scouting for their DVD (must have it, precioussss).

Greg's voice is just divine.  I want to scowl at our local DJ when he described Greg's voice sounding like a girl.  Although it might sound that way to some, he's all XY, people.  He looks utterly adorable in glasses.  And even before RPattz went out with ruffled hair, Greg is already rockin' it.

At first I envied British people for having Harry Potter and Alex Pettyfer.  Now they have The Delays!  Other parts of the world really needs to get a piece of these guys.

Check out their new latest album, Star Tiger Star Ariel.  Love the cover with angel wings and stars.

Greg says "The first album sounded like the sun, the second album like a club, ‘Everything’s The Rush’ was a festival, but this album sounds like roots beneath the city shaking the buildings at night. This record is about being lost, and the dream of being found. It is our most personal record, and, more than anything, is a soundscape for our home."

Their single, Unsung is an upbeat track.  Lovely.  But I'm in-love with the track, Hold Fire.  I really should buy the album now.
