Waiting on Wednesday: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (w/trailers!)

by Suzanne Collins
August 24, 2010
"Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’s family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins’s groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year." (from Goodreads)~

Who is not waiting for this book?  It's either they just woken up from a loooong sleep or running a defense mechanism to prevent them from going bonkers because of the waiting.  :p

It is no secret that I'm one of the millions waiting for Mockingjay to come out.  The countdown widget is there, the Waiting on Wednesday is here, and it's included in my short list of can't-wait books for the Book Hop. I've also reserved mine in our nearest bookstore (and I'm there early morning, people!).

Who will Katniss end up with?  Gale or Peeta?  Or if not, what will happen to her relationship with them?  And there's also the question of the mystery of District 13, and the whole shebang at the last Hunger Games.  Rebellion have already begun and in this final installment of The Hunger Games Trilogy, it's all or nothing for everyone in Panem.

Trailers that makes you wish it's August 24 already!

I am "jumping out of my skin" excited about this book. I can't wait for August to get here! My copy is on reserve and I', itching to get my hands on it. The only sad thing about the release is that all good things must come to an end, and this is the end of the Hunger Games triology. I am team Peeta all the way. The guy risked his life numerous times for her, and now she is going to have to save him! I can't wait!!
