Book Covers, Sequel Titles, and an Anthology

Forever (Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater
Shadowspell by Jenna Black

I love the cover of Shadowspell! It's as pretty as Glimmerglass.  And I'm curious about the doe.  I'm suddenly reminded of Harry's patronus.

Then of course, Maggie's Forever is beautiful.  What could the color red signify.  Ah...must finish Linger already!  I might have an idea.  I wish!

Then we have some book sequel titles announcement.  Starting off with Michelle Zink.  She revelaed the title for the third book of the Prophecy of the Sisters series - Circle of Fire
From Michelle:

"Circle of Fire, it is! I love it because it refers to the a passage of the prophecy itself and keeps the basic syntax of the first two titles."
Then Sophie Jordan also announced the title for the sequel for the fiery book one, Firelight in The Hiding Spot.  The second book will have the title, Vanish.  Pretty teasing, huh?
From Sophie:

"This title is actually inspired from a line I wrote in the second Firelight novel. My editors kindly pointed it out to me and suggested it. "Vanish" is just one of those words I found myself typing more than once as I wrote the book. Those of you who've read FIRELIGHT and recall the ending might also have an idea what motivated the title choice. The title speaks to Jacinda's state, both physically and emotionally, through many points of the second Firelight novel ... and it also hints at a major twist you'll learn upon reading the very beginning VANISH.

Be prepared for more romance, suspense and adventure as Jacinda's story continues in VANISH!"
And for more book news, a new anthology was announced by Holly Black, where she is the editor alongside Ellen Kushner (with Introduction by series creator Terri Windling).  It is entitled, Welcome to Bordertown, and is slated to be published on May 24, 2011 by Random House.  Ellen also provided the table of content for the anthology:

I'm excited for this one because it's another opportunity again to discover new authors and a get a feel of their writing style.  And also because it also has a story that both Holly and Cassie worked on together.
