It's Friday and time to hop and follow!
This week's question for the Book Blogger Hop is from Christina of All About YA Books:
"If you find a book that looks interesting but is part of a series, do you always start with the first title?"
Interesting...
Yup! I always start with the first book if it's a series. I never tried reading book series out of order...

The we thave this for Parajunkee's Follow Friday from Jackie of Insane Hussein (Featured Blog):"What is your usual monthly book budget?"
Wow, that's hard to compute. lol. I tried to have a monthly book budget but I always fail to follow it. [bad, tsk.] So usually I try to estimate the price of the books I would want that is coming out per month and then do the allotment. Then put in extra just in case a magazine or a rouge book props out. Mine fluctuates around $30-$50. Anywhere beyond that and my wallet will go mad again. lol.
Thanks for dropping by! Do leave a message. I love messages. :)
Next week will be the start of the Gratitude Giveaways, hosted by Kathy of I am a Reader, Not a Writer, that I'm participating in. And just under 7 days before the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 movie! Good stuffs next week! :) Cheers!

Len spends most of her time ruminating on her writings that never made it to paper; keeps sane by reading books and listening to music. She reviews most of them out of love and the joy of it.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm behind on my blog visiting today.
Of course, I'm already an old follower of this beautiful blog!
I don't pay much attention to what I spend. Lately it hasn't been bad. Contests and ARCs and NetGalley are keeping me supplied.
One of the first books I reviewed with Net Galley was Tyger Tyger and it's author, Kersten Hamilton, is guest posting and doing a giveaway at my blog today and the giveaway will go through Sunday. The book comes out on Monday! ANd, it is one of my favorite books this year. Come by/

Hello!
Stopped on the hop - I also start all my series novels from the first one, and have exchanged a book for book 1 if I discover it is part of a series while reading.
Btw, what is the reason behind the original blog name - maiden veil? Is that a Wheel of Time reference?
- Dee, hopping from e-Volving Books
I don't really have a set budget for books. I buy them when I can. And I definitely don't read series out of order! I prefer to let things unfold the way that the author intended.
Thanks for stopping by I'm returning the love. Wish I could get out of the bookstore spending under 50. That would be great...I just can't help myself.
Have a great weekend.
