SHERLOCK!!! Really, BBC. You are fueling my TV addictions/obsession. If you haven't tried getting into this series, I really recommend watching it. Especially if you enjoyed the movie, Sherlock Holmes and are into detective works and smart banters.
Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) portrayal of Sherlock is awesome. Not to mention he's so fine, he's rocking his coat. And where would Sherlock be without John Watson (Martin Freeman)? He's adorable as Watson.
The series might just be three episodes but it runs for an hour half at least per episode. It might sound a bit long, but you'll want the second season after the third episode. And the episodes are not boring, they're nasty fun! How could you get bored with Sherlock and Watson? I literally spent my Christmas watching it.
After finishing both Merlin and Sherlock last holiday, I have now a British killer cheekbone syndrome. Not to mention I think I'm currently in a British-diet mode (aka. if-you're-hungry-just-look-at-British-guys). Good thing they will start shooting for the next season this May. *clap-clap-clap*
To give you something from the show. This is from Episode 3 - The Great Game:
Watson: What the hell are you doing?
Sherlock: Bored.
Watson: What?!
Sherlock: Bored!
Watson: No…
Sherlock: [gunshot] Bored! [gunshot] Bored! Don’t know what’s got into the criminal classes. Good job I’m not one of them.
Watson: So you take it out on the wall?
Sherlock: The wall had it coming.

P.S. Already watched one episode of Doctor Who, where the Doctor is David Tennant. I think the episode was Midnight. Creeeeepy. But it was a smart episode but I was a bit disturbed afterwards. Haha! Need to finish completing the episodes...

OMG another Sherlockian! =D I've been waiting for it to hit the states and spreading it best I can. If you like it, you should check out "A Study in Time" which is a fanmade trailer on youtube for a Sherlock/Doctor Who crossover and is FABULOUSLY edited. I'm also just waiting for them to do an episode of Merlin where they get Benedict Cumberbatch to play an older version of Colin Morgan - seriously, they could be brothers!
I've heard a lot of great things about Sherlock and Merlin, and they're both on my to-be-watched list! Have you ever seen Being Human? It's another British show that I started watching a few months ago, and now I'm addicted...
@Anne: I'm going to check that fanvid! A cross-over between Sherlock/Doctor Who sounds wicked! I can almost hear a banter between Sherlock and Doctor Who. Benedict and Colin Morgan both have killer cheekbones. They could definitely pass as brothers! How about Merlin's half-brother? Ah, the thought makes me excited. :D
@Natalie: Hope you can watch those two! I haven't heard of Being Human but now that you mentioned it, I'm going to search for it. :D
