Pottermore!
I'm back! Well, sort off. :) I'm still trying to catch up with most stuffs around. :) But I cannot wait to share with you all the news of Pottermore!
Every Potterhead has been excited for J.K. Rowling's announcement of what is Pottermore. And after days of speculation, here is our queen to share it:
I don't know with you all but I am beyond excited! I will fight all forms of apocalypse for this experience. I mean, it's a whole new experience! And aside from the virtual book stuffs, the additional materials that JK has been holding for years are enough for the world to stand still.
Guardian.co.uk reports:
JK Rowling has written extensive new material about the world of Harry Potter for her new venture, Pottermore, she revealed at a press conference launching the collaborative website. You want a little peek of what's in Pottermore? Here are some sample image of the sites, courtesy of Mugglenet.com:
From Professor McGonagall’s love for a Muggle as a young woman, to how the Dursleys met; from new information about Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses, to details about wand wood, the fresh Potter background from the author already stretches to 18,000 words, with more to come.
The material will be used on the new, free Pottermore website, a collaborative project for fans set in the Harry Potter universe. “I wanted to give something back to the fans that have followed Harry so devotedly over the years, and to bring the stories to a new generation,” Rowling revealed. “I hope fans and those new to Harry will have as much fun helping to shape Pottermore as I have. Just as I have contributed to the website, everyone else will be able to join in by submitting their own comments, drawings and other content in a safe and friendly environment. Pottermore has been designed as a place to share the stories with your friends as you journey through the site.”
For the moment, Pottermore will be restricted to the world of the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, but all the books will be added in due course.

We have our movie Jace Wayland!
From my reading retreat, I have heard that Screen Gems have found the actor who will play Jace Wayland in the movie adaptation of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
After much speculation and anticipation, TMI Examiner have confirmed that Jamie Campbell Bower will indeed play the swoon-worthy shadowhunter.
Earlier, it was MTV's Hollywood Crush who first posted the news that JCB got the role. It elicited quite an uproar from the fans, asking for a confirmation of the news that JCB got the role that they have been waiting for to be filled.
I have been an adamant AP supporter and I'm still am. I'm taking this news in good faith and would wish JCB the best. Although I still have my reservations about him, he's a good actor and being picked as Jace is no small feat. This changes nothing about my love for the books or my outlook for the movie. And as long as Cassie is ok with it. Everything's good.
Cassie has yet to make a blog post about it, but she has confirmed it as well. She is happy with the casting of JCB. She herself just found out about that movie news today.
I will edit this post and link to her post as soon as it comes up. I am also waiting for Mundie Moms to post it to make it fan-official, and hear thoughts on the casting. :)
I can understand the sentiments of the other TMI fans. It is natural for them (most are fairly young young) to hate this news at first but later on this will sink in, and they will learn to deal with it. *pat-pat-pat* I too is still not that happy with the news but doing better than expected. Let's just hope for the best.
The next hurdle will be casting Simon, Izzy, Alec, and especially Magnus Bane...and Church.
I will just leave this as is and nurse my wounded heart. I return to my reading retreat in a while! toorah
PS. Hunger Games have their President Snow! It's going to be played than no less than Mr. Donald Sutherland! *throws white flowers*

Len spends most of her time ruminating on her writings that never made it to paper; keeps sane by reading books and listening to music. She reviews most of them out of love and the joy of it.
